Education is a powerful means of enriching human life — a continuous process through which a child grows into a capable citizen. Higher education, in particular, cultivates the fuller human qualities and the sense of dignity a person carries into society.
The purpose of higher education is not limited to intellectual growth; it also develops the creativity and humanity latent in a person, connecting physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social growth to one’s cultural inheritance.
The all-round development of society calls not merely for literacy but for a sound grounding in the arts and sciences suited to a modern setting. With that need in view, it was resolved to establish a college on the soil of Sahatwar.
Through its academic and co-curricular work the college has earned a distinct standing — not only in the district but at university level. It continues on that path, keeping meaningful education within reach of the students of this region.
