Obtaining information from the college under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
Under the Right to Information Act, 2005, any citizen may obtain information relating to the college. The Act, as applied here, secures transparency, accountability and fairness in the administration. Any student, parent or member of the public may apply in the prescribed manner for the college’s academic, financial, administrative and other public information. The college has named an RTI officer for this purpose, who answers within the time allowed. The Act strengthens democratic working and keeps faith in the education system.
