Admission rules
Admission to any class of the college is made under the following rules:
No admission is made in any faculty after the date announced by the university.
At least 35 per cent marks in the qualifying examination are required.
Only those students may be admitted who are in a position to maintain 75 per cent attendance. Below that, university rules bar a student from the examination.
A newly admitted student must, at the time of admission, submit the transfer certificate (T.C.) or migration certificate from their previous institution.
A candidate penalised for using unfair means is not admitted, and remains so until the university has cleared them and informed the college of that decision.
An admission obtained on a false certificate, or by concealing facts, is cancelled at any time.
Other admission information is posted on the notice board and given through no other channel. Applicants may contact the office for anything particular.
For admission to a degree or post-graduate class, a gap of no more than two years is accepted.
Every student must fill the online examination form within the date fixed by the university and deposit the college and university copies at the office. Entering the subjects and papers correctly is the student’s own responsibility, as is the consequence if an error keeps them out of the examination. Incomplete forms, or forms submitted after the date, are not forwarded under any circumstances.
The online examination form is verified by the principal of the college. It must never be verified or forwarded by any other officer.
Under the government orders issued for self-financed colleges, the year’s fees are payable in two instalments.
The first instalment — six months’ fees, the examination fee and the enrolment fee — falls due at admission. The second is due in January.
If the government or the university raises the fees, the increase must be paid with the second instalment.
The names of students who have not paid within the time allowed are published on the notice board in February, and are then struck off the college rolls.
Only after the college fees and the university examination fee are paid is a student allowed to fill the examination form, and only then is it forwarded. Only those who have paid in full and obtained a no-dues certificate may sit the annual or practical examinations.
Post-graduate students pay a full session’s fees at the beginning of each session.
Admission fees for the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. classes are taken under the procedure fixed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
If the original fee receipt is lost, a duplicate costs ten rupees extra. A student who leaves the college after admission but before the session ends is not refunded.
